A Tajik screenwriter and member of the Union of Writers of Tajikistan. She has a bachelor’s in TV journalism from the Tajik State Institute of Culture and Arts and an MFA in screenwriting from the All-Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK). Together with her spouse, a filmmaker Kamil Karim, she has made the documentary “Personage” and the award-winning short film “Border” for the 48 HFR. The latter won the Best Film Award among other Central Asian shorts produced within the 48 HFR.
